Ezekiel 15:5

Notice this, even when it was complete, it was not useful and was not made into anything. How much less, after the fire has burned [part of] it and [the remainder of] it is charred, can it still be made into anything?

Behold, when it was whole, it was meet for no work: how much less shall it be meet yet for any work, when the fire hath devoured it, and it is burned?

“Hardly. When it was whole it wasn’t good for anything. Half-burned is no improvement. What’s it good for? 6-8 “So here’s the Message of God, the Master: Like the wood of the vine I selected from among the trees of the forest and used as fuel for the fire, just so I’ll treat those who live in Jerusalem. I am dead set against them. Even though at one time they got out of the fire charred, the fire’s going to burn them up. When I take my stand against them, you’ll realize that I am God. I’ll turn this country into a wilderness because they’ve been faithless.” Decree of God, the Master.

It was not useful when it was whole. So how can it be made into something useful now? The fire has burned it and blackened it.”

Vines are useless both before and after being put into the fire!

فَإِنْ كَانَ وَهُوَ سَلِيمٌ لَمْ يَصْلُحْ لِعَمَلٍ مَا، فَكَمْ بِالأَحْرَى بَعْدَ أَنِ الْتَهَمَتْهُ النِّيرَانُ وَاحْتَرَقَ؟ أَيَصْلُحُ بَعْدُ لِصُنْعِ شَيْءٍ؟

Det kan altså hverken bruges til forarbejdning eller som brændsel.

Natürlich nicht. Schon als sie noch nicht verbrannt war, konnte man nichts mit ihrem Holz anfangen – wie viel weniger, wenn das Feuer sie nun verkohlt hat!

Se não foi útil para coisa alguma enquanto estava inteira, muito menos o será quando o fogo a queimar e ela estiver carbonizada.

Portanto, é inútil, tanto antes como depois de ser queimada!

Om den var så oanvändbar medan den ännu var hel, hur mycket mindre kan den användas till någonting när elden har förtärt och bränt den?

เมื่อมันยังดีอยู่ก็ทำประโยชน์อะไรไม่ได้ เมื่อถูกไฟเผาก็ยิ่งไม่มีประโยชน์

它完好无损的时候，尚且不能用来制造工具，被火烧后岂不更没用了吗？

完 全 的 时 候 尚 且 不 合 乎 甚 麽 工 用 ， 何 况 被 火 烧 坏 ， 还 能 合 乎 甚 麽 工 用 麽 ？
