Ezekiel 14:10

They [both] will bear the punishment of their wickedness; the sin of the [counterfeit] prophet will be the same as the sin of the [hypocritical] inquirer,

And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh unto him;

They will bear the punishment of their iniquity; as the iniquity of the inquirer is, so the iniquity of the prophet will be,

The prophet will be as much to blame as the one who asks him for advice. Both of them will be guilty.

وَيَنَالُونَ عِقَابَ إِثْمِهِمْ، وَيَكُونُ ذَنْبُ النَّبِيِّ مُمَاثِلاً لِذَنْبِ السَّائِلِ.

Spørgeren og den falske profet er begge skyldige og får den samme straf,

Also müssen beide – der Götzendiener, der fragt, und der Prophet, der eigenmächtig antwortet – die gleiche Strafe tragen, denn ihre Schuld ist gleich groß.

Valse profeten en huichelaars—goddeloze mensen die zeggen dat zij mijn woorden willen—zullen allemaal worden gestraft voor hun zonden,

O profeta será tão culpado quanto aquele que o consultar; ambos serão castigados.

Falsos profetas e hipócritas, gente má que diz querer as minhas palavras, o que não é verdade, todos esses serão punidos pelos seus pecados.
