Exodus 3:1

Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro (Reuel) his father-in-law, the priest of Midian; and he led his flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb (Sinai), the mountain of God.

Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.

1-2 Moses was shepherding the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. He led the flock to the west end of the wilderness and came to the mountain of God, Horeb. The angel of God appeared to him in flames of fire blazing out of the middle of a bush. He looked. The bush was blazing away but it didn’t burn up.

Now Moses was pasturing the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian; and he led the flock to the [a]west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

Moses was taking care of the flock of his father-in-law Jethro. Jethro was the priest of Midian. Moses led the flock to the western side of the desert. He came to Horeb. It was the mountain of God.

وَأَمَّا مُوسَى فَكَانَ يَرْعَى غَنَمَ حَمِيهِ يَثْرُونَ كَاهِنِ مِدْيَانَ، فَقَادَ الْغَنَمَ إِلَى مَا وَرَاءِ الطَّرَفِ الأَقْصَى مِنَ الصَّحْرَاءِ حَتَّى جَاءَ إلى حُورِيبَ جَبَلِ اللهِ.

Moses vogtede nu får for sin svigerfar, præsten i Midjan, som også kaldtes Jetro. Han drev dyrene over i den fjerne ende af ørkenområdet og kom til Guds bjerg, Horeb.

ある日モーセは、ミデヤンの祭司であるしゅうとイテロ〔別名レウエル〕の羊の群れの番をしていました。砂漠のはずれにある神の山ホレブ（シナイ山）に近い所です。

En dag när Mose vaktade fåren åt sin svärfar Jetro, prästen i Midjan, drev han dem bortom öknen i närheten av Horeb[a], Guds berg.
