Exodus 22:2

“If a thief is caught breaking in [after dark] and is struck [by the owner] so that he dies, there shall be no bloodguilt for him.

If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.

“[b]If the thief is [c]caught while breaking in and is struck so that he dies, there will be no bloodguiltiness on his account.

“Suppose you catch a thief breaking into your house at night. And suppose you hit the thief and the thief dies. Then you are not guilty of murder.

“If a thief is caught breaking in at night and is struck a fatal blow, the defender is not guilty of bloodshed;

‘If a thief is caught breaking in at night and is struck a fatal blow, the defender is not guilty of bloodshed;

[c]“If a thief is caught in the act of breaking into a house and is struck and killed in the process, the person who killed the thief is not guilty of murder.

إِذَا ضُبِطَ السَّارِقُ وَهُوَ يَنْقُبُ لَيْلاً وَضُرِبَ فَمَاتَ، يَذْهَبُ دَمُهُ هَدْراً.

Wenn es aber schon hell war, gilt die Tat als Mord.Ein Dieb muss das Gestohlene erstatten; besitzt er nichts, soll er als Sklave verkauft werden. Das Geld steht dem Bestohlenen als Entschädigung zu.

Par contre, si cela se passe en plein jour, celui qui l’aura frappé sera coupable de meurtre. Tout voleur devra verser une indemnité. S’il ne possède rien, il sera lui-même vendu comme esclave pour compenser ce qu’il a volé.

Om en tjuv blir tagen på bar gärning och dödad är det inte blodskuld.

“หากขโมยถูกจับได้และถูกฆ่าตายขณะลอบเข้าไปในบ้าน คนที่ฆ่าเขาไม่มีความผิด

倘若有人打死正入屋偷窃的贼，这人不算犯杀人罪。

人 若 遇 见 贼 挖 窟 窿 ， 把 贼 打 了 ， 以 至 於 死 ， 就 不 能 为 他 有 流 血 的 罪 。

倘若有人打死正入屋偷竊的賊，這人不算犯殺人罪。
