So Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its normal flow at sunrise; and the Egyptians retreated right into it [being met by the returning water]; so the Lord overthrew the Egyptians and tossed them into the midst of the sea.

فَبَسَطَ مُوسَى يَدَهُ فَوْقَ البَحْرِ عِنْدَ انْبِثَاقِ الصَّبَاحِ، فَارْتَدَّ الْبَحْرُ إِلَى مَوْضِعِهِ عَلَى الْمِصْرِيِّينَ الْهَارِبِينَ فِي اتِّجَاهِهِ، فَجَرَفَهُمُ الرَّبُّ نَحْوَ وَسْطِ الْبَحْرِ.

Moses adlød. Da dagen gryede, rakte Moses hånden ud over havet. Vandmasserne drønede tilbage til deres normale leje, og Herren skyllede de skrækslagne egyptere bort med de brusende strømme.

Mose räckte ut sin hand över havet, och vattnet vände på morgonen tillbaka till sitt normala läge. Egypterna flydde rakt mot vattenmassorna, men Herren svepte dem ut i havet.
