Exodus 11:2

Speak so that all of the people [of Israel] may hear, and tell every man to ask from his neighbor, and every woman to ask from her neighbor, articles of silver, and articles of gold.”

فَقُلِ الآنَ لِلشَّعْبِ: لِيَطْلُبْ كُلُّ رَجُلٍ مِنْ جَارِهِ، وَكُلُّ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ جَارَتِهَا، آنِيَةَ فِضَّةٍ وَذَهَبٍ».

Sig nu til alle israelitiske mænd og kvinder, at de skal bede deres egyptiske naboer om guld- og sølvsmykker.”

Sag den Israeliten, dass sie sich silberne und goldene Schmuckstücke und Gefäße geben lassen sollen. Jeder Mann soll in den umliegenden Häusern nachfragen, und die Frauen sollen ihre Nachbarinnen darum bitten.«
