Moses and Aaron did all these wonders (miracles) before Pharaoh; yet the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not let the Israelites go out of his land.

Derfor gjorde Herren Farao stædig, så han ikke ville lade folket rejse—på trods af at Moses og Aron udførte alle de her undere for øjnene af ham.

そういうわけで、モーセとアロンが数々の奇跡をファラオの目の前で行ったにもかかわらず、神はファラオの心をかたくななままにしておかれ、イスラエル人の出国をなかなか許そうとはしなかったのです。

Fastän Mose och Aron utförde dessa under mitt framför ögonen på farao, gjorde Herren honom hård och orubblig, och han vägrade låta folket lämna landet.
