Ephesians 5:5

For be sure of this: no immoral, impure, or greedy person—for that one is [in effect] an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God [for such a person places a higher value on something other than God].

For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

You can be sure that using people or religion or things just for what you can get out of them—the usual variations on idolatry—will get you nowhere, and certainly nowhere near the kingdom of Christ, the kingdom of God. 6-7 Don’t let yourselves get taken in by religious smooth talk. God gets furious with people who are full of religious sales talk but want nothing to do with him. Don’t even hang around people like that. 8-10 You groped your way through that murk once, but no longer. You’re out in the open now. The bright light of Christ makes your way plain. So no more stumbling around. Get on with it! The good, the right, the true—these are the actions appropriate for daylight hours. Figure out what will please Christ, and then do it. 11-16 Don’t waste your time on useless work, mere busywork, the barren pursuits of darkness. Expose these things for the sham they are. It’s a scandal when people waste their lives on things they must do in the darkness where no one will see. Rip the cover off those frauds and see how attractive they look in the light of Christ.Wake up from your sleep,Climb out of your coffins;Christ will show you the light!So watch your step. Use your head. Make the most of every chance you get. These are desperate times!

porque debéis saber que en el reino de Cristo y de Dios no tendrá parte ni herencia nadie que sea inmoral o impuro, ni nadie que sea avaro, pues que un avaro no es sino un idólatra que pone su dinero en el lugar que corresponde a Dios.

Here is what you can be sure of. Those who give themselves over to sexual sins are lost. So are people whose lives are impure. The same is true of those who always want more and more. People who do these things might as well worship statues of gods. No one who does them will receive a share in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Pamatujte si, že do nového světa, kde vládne Bůh, nevstoupí žádný sprosťák ani nemrava, ba ani lakomec, který je ve své podstatě modlář, protože věcem dává přednost před Bohem.

I kan være sikre på én ting: Folk, der lever i seksuel synd eller anden umoral eller griske personer vil ikke få del i Kristi og Guds rige. Griskhed er nemlig en form for afgudsdyrkelse.

Budite sigurni u ovo: u Božje Kristovo kraljevstvo neće ući nijedan bludnik, ili nečist čovjek, ili pohlepnik. Jer takvi su ljudi idolopoklonici - klanjaju se stvarima ovoga svijeta.

En ting må dere ha klart for dere: Ingen som lar seg bruke til seksuell løssluppenhet og annen umoral eller griskhet, får del i Kristus og plass blant Guds eget folk. Den slags er å tilbe avguder.

U moet goed weten dat in het Koninkrijk van Christus en God geen plaats is voor mensen die ontuchtig, losbandig of hebzuchtig zijn. Hebzucht is het dienen van een valse god.

Să ştiţi sigur că nici un om desfrânat sau necurat sau lacom, care este un idolatru, n-are parte de moştenire în Împărăţia[a] lui Cristos şi a lui Dumnezeu[b].

Pamätajte na to, že do nového sveta, kde vládne Boh, nevstúpi nijaký skazený a zvrhlý človek, ba ani lakomec, ktorý je vo svojej podstate modlár, lebo dáva veciam prednosť pred Bohom.

Ni ska ha klart för er att ingen som ägnar sig åt sexuell omoral och annan orenhet eller girighet får del i Kristus och Guds rike, för detta är att tillbe avgudar.

Mjue hakika kwamba hakuna mwasherati wala mtu mwenye mawazo machafu, wala mwenye tamaa, yaani mwabudu sanamu, ambaye ataurithi Ufalme wa Kristo na wa Mungu.

ท่านแน่ใจได้เลยว่าคนผิดศีลธรรม คนไม่บริสุทธิ์ หรือคนโลภ คนเช่นนี้เป็นผู้กราบไหว้รูปเคารพ เขาจะไม่ได้รับมรดกใดๆ ในอาณาจักรของพระคริสต์และของพระเจ้า[a]

因为你们清楚知道，淫乱的人、污秽的人，还有贪婪的人，就是拜偶像的人，在基督和上帝的国里没有立足之地。

因 为 你 们 确 实 的 知 道 ， 无 论 是 淫 乱 的 ， 是 污 秽 的 ， 是 有 贪 心 的 ， 在 基 督 和 神 的 国 里 都 是 无 分 的 。 有 贪 心 的 ， 就 与 拜 偶 像 的 一 样 。

因為你們清楚知道，淫亂的人、污穢的人，還有貪婪的人，就是拜偶像的人，在基督和上帝的國裡沒有立足之地。
