Ecclesiastes 2:16

For there is no [more] lasting remembrance of the wise man than of the fool, since in the days to come all will be long forgotten. And how does the wise man die? Even as the fool!

For there is no remembrance of the wise more than of the fool for ever; seeing that which now is in the days to come shall all be forgotten. And how dieth the wise man? as the fool.

For there is no [l]lasting remembrance of the wise man as with the fool, inasmuch as in the coming days all will be forgotten. And how the wise man and the fool alike die!

Like a foolish person, a wise person won’t be remembered very long. The days have already come when both of them have been forgotten.Like a person who is foolish, a wise person must die too! Work Is Meaningless

For the wise and the foolish both die. The wise will not be remembered any longer than the fool. In the days to come, both will be forgotten.

فَإِنَّ الْحَكِيمَ كَالْجَاهِلِ، لَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُمَا ذِكْرٌ إِلَى الأَبَدِ، فَفِي الأَيَّامِ الْمُقْبِلَةِ سَيُصْبِحَانِ كِلاهُمَا نَسْياً مَنْسِيًّا، إِذْ يَمُوتُ الْجَاهِلُ كَالْحَكِيمِ.

Både den vise og tåben skal dø, og ingen af dem huskes for evigt, for med tiden bliver alting glemt.

Denn später erinnert sich niemand mehr an den Weisen, genauso wenig wie an den Unwissenden. Wie bald sind beide vergessen – der Tod macht keinen Unterschied!

賢い人も愚かな人も死ぬのです。時がたてば、両者とも、すっかり忘れられてしまいます。

지혜로운 사람이나 어리석은 사람이나 영원히 기억되지는 못할 것이며 언젠가는 다 잊혀지고 말 것이다. 지혜로운 사람도 죽음에 있어서는 어리석은 사람과 마찬가지이다.

Want de wijze en de dwaas sterven allebei en in de toekomst worden beiden vergeten.

Nem o sábio, nem o tolo serão lembrados para sempre;nos dias futuros ambos serão esquecidos.Como pode o sábio morrer como o tolo morre? O Trabalho Árduo é Inútil

Porque tanto o sábio como o insensato morrerão e, no futuro, ambos virão a ser esquecidos.

Varken den vise eller dåren kommer att bli ihågkomna för evigt, snart är båda bortglömda. Både den vise och dåren dör.

เพราะคนฉลาดก็เป็นเช่นเดียวกับคนโง่เขาจะไม่อยู่ในความทรงจำเนิ่นนานในวันข้างหน้าก็ถูกลืมเลือนไปทั้งคู่คนฉลาดก็ต้องตายเช่นเดียวกับคนโง่! การตรากตรำก็อนิจจัง

因为智者和愚人一样，不过被人记得一时，日后都会被遗忘。两者都难逃死亡。

智 慧 人 和 愚 昧 人 一 样 ， 永 远 无 人 记 念 ， 因 为 日 後 都 被 忘 记 ； 可 叹 智 慧 人 死 亡 ， 与 愚 昧 人 无 异 。

因為智者和愚人一樣，不過被人記得一時，日後都會被遺忘。兩者都難逃死亡。
