Deuteronomy 5:16

‘Honor (respect, obey, care for) your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that your days [on the earth] may be prolonged and so that it may go well with you in the land which the Lord your God gives you.

Honour thy father and thy mother, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

Respect your father and mother—God, your God, commands it! You’ll have a long life; the land that God is giving you will treat you well.

“Honor your father and mother, just as the Lord your God has commanded you. Then you will live a long time in the land he is giving you. And things will go well with you there.

أَكْرِمْ أَبَاكَ وَأُمَّكَ كَمَا أَمَرَكَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ، فَتَطُولَ أَيَّامُكَ وَيَكُونَ لَكَ خَيْرٌ عَلَى الأَرْضِ الَّتِي يُوَرِّثُهَا لَكَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ.

Du skal ære din far og din mor, sådan som Herren, din Gud, har befalet dig, så du kan få et langt og godt liv i det land, jeg vil give dig.

Ehre deinen Vater und deine Mutter! Das befehle ich, der Herr, dein Gott. Dann wird es dir gut gehen, und du wirst lange in dem Land leben, das ich dir gebe.

»Honra a tu padre y a tu madre, como el Señor tu Dios te lo ha ordenado, para que disfrutes de una larga vida y te vaya bien en la tierra que te da el Señor tu Dios.

“ ‘Tahura ang inyo amay kag iloy, suno sa ginmando ko sa inyo, agod magkabuhi kamo sing malawig kag mangin maayo ang inyo kahimtangan sa duta nga ginahatag ko sa inyo.

あなたの両親を尊敬しなさい。そうすれば、主であるわたしが与える国で、長く幸せな一生を送ることができる。

‘너희는 너희 하나님 나 여호와가 명령한 대로 너희 부모를 공경하라. 그러면 내가 너희에게 줄 땅에서 너희가 복을 누리며 오래오래 살 것이다.

Eer uw vader en uw moeder naar het gebod van de Here, uw God. Als u dat doet, zult u een lang en voorspoedig leven hebben in het land dat Hij u geeft.

Cinsteşte-l pe tatăl tău şi pe mama ta, aşa cum ţi-a poruncit Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, pentru ca să trăieşti mult timp şi să-ţi meargă bine în ţara pe care ţi-o va da Domnul, Dumnezeul tău!

Visa respekt för dina föräldrar, så som Herren, din Gud, har befallt dig. Då ska du få ett långt och lyckligt liv i det land som Herren, din Gud, ger dig.

“จงให้เกียรติบิดามารดาของเจ้าตามที่พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของเจ้าได้ทรงบัญชาไว้ เพื่อเจ้าจะมีชีวิตยืนยาวและอยู่เย็นเป็นสุขในดินแดนที่พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของเจ้ากำลังยกให้เจ้า

“‘要遵照你的上帝耶和华的吩咐孝敬父母，以便在你的上帝耶和华要赐给你的土地上享长寿，蒙祝福。

当 照 耶 和 华 ─ 你 神 所 吩 咐 的 孝 敬 父 母 ， 使 你 得 福 ， 并 使 你 的 日 子 在 耶 和 华 ─ 你 神 所 赐 你 的 地 上 得 以 长 久 。

「『要遵照你的上帝耶和華的吩咐孝敬父母，以便在你的上帝耶和華要賜給你的土地上享長壽，蒙祝福。
