Deuteronomy 31:3

It is the Lord your God who will cross ahead of you; He will destroy these nations before you, and you shall dispossess them. Joshua is the one who will go across before you [to lead you], just as the Lord has said.

وَلَكِنَّ الرَّبَّ إِلَهَكُمْ عَابِرٌ أَمَامَكُمْ، وَهُوَ يُبِيدُ تِلْكَ الأُمَمَ مِنْ قُدَّامِكُمْ فَتَرِثُونَهُمْ. وَسَيَكُونُ يَشُوعُ قَائِدَكُمْ كَمَا وَعَدَ الرَّبُّ.

Er selbst, der Herr, euer Gott, wird vor euch hergehen. Er wird die Völker, auf die ihr trefft, vernichten und euch helfen, ihr Land einzunehmen. Josua wird dabei die Führung übernehmen, wie der Herr es bestimmt hat.

Men Herren, din Gud, kommer att gå framför dig och förgöra de folk som bor där och du ska besegra dem. Josua ska bli din nye ledare, som Herren har sagt.
