Deuteronomy 31:12

Assemble the people, the men and the women and children and the stranger (resident alien, foreigner) within your cities, so that they may hear and learn and fear the Lord your God [with awe-filled reverence and profound respect], and be careful to obey all the words of this law.

اجْمَعُوا الشَّعْبَ رِجَالاً وَنِسَاءً وَأَطْفَالاً، وَالْغُرَبَاءَ الْمُقِيمِينَ فِي مُدُنِكُمْ لِيَسْمَعُوا وَيَتَعَلَّمُوا تَقْوَى الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ، وَيَحْرِصُوا عَلَى الْعَمَلِ بِجَمِيعِ نُصُوصِ هَذِهِ التَّوْرَاةِ.

Så skal I kalde folket sammen, både mændene, kvinderne, børnene og de fremmede, der bor iblandt jer, og lade dem høre loven, så de kan lære Herrens vilje at kende og frygte ham og adlyde ham.

‘Roep hen allen bijeen,’ beval Mozes, ‘mannen, vrouwen, kinderen en vreemdelingen die bij u wonen, om de wetten van God aan te horen en zijn wil te leren kennen, zodat u de Here, uw God, in ere zult houden en zijn wetten zult gehoorzamen.

Sammankalla hela folket, män, kvinnor, barn och de främlingar som bor i dina städer, så att alla får lyssna och lära att frukta Herren, er Gud, och lyda allt som står i denna lag.
