Deuteronomy 30:19

I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse; therefore, you shall choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants,

I’m calling for the heavens and the earth to be witnesses against you this very day. I’m offering you the choice of life or death. You can choose either blessings or curses. But I want you to choose life. Then you and your children will live.

هَا أَنَا أُشْهِدُ عَلَيْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ السَّمَاءَ وَالأَرْضَ. قَدْ وَضَعْتُ أَمَامَكُمُ الْحَيَاةَ وَالْمَوْتَ، الْبَرَكَةَ وَاللَّعْنَةَ. فَاخْتَارُوا الْحَيَاةَ لِتَحْيَوْا أَنْتُمْ وَنَسْلُكُمْ،

I dag kalder jeg himlen og jorden til vidne på, at jeg har givet jer valget mellem livet og døden, mellem velsignelsen og forbandelsen. Vælg nu livet, så I og jeres børn får et godt liv.

Je prends aujourd’hui le ciel et la terre à témoins : je vous offre le choix entre la vie et la mort, entre la bénédiction et la malédiction. Choisissez donc la vie, afin que vous viviez, vous et vos descendants.
