Deuteronomy 2:8

“So we passed beyond our brothers the sons of Esau, who lived in Seir, away from the Arabah (wilderness) road, away from Elath and from Ezion-geber. Then we turned and passed through by the way of the Wilderness of Moab.

And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Eziongaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

So we detoured around our brothers, the People of Esau who live in Seir, avoiding the Arabah Road that comes up from Elath and Ezion Geber; instead we used the road through the Wilderness of Moab.

We went on past our relatives. They are from the family line of Esau. They live in Seir. We turned away from the Arabah Valley road. It comes up from Elath and Ezion Geber. We traveled along the desert road of Moab.

فَاجْتَزْنَا بِإِخْوَتِنَا بَنِي عِيسُو الْمُقِيمِينَ فِي سِعِيرَ، مُتَّجِهِينَ فِي طَرِيقِ وَادِي الْعَرَبَةِ جَنُوباً صَوْبَ إِيلاتَ وَعَصْيُونَ جَابِرَ، ثُمَّ انْثَنَيْنَا وَمَرَرْنَا فِي طَرِيقِ صَحْرَاءِ مُوآبَ.

Så gik vi nordpå og satte kursen mod Moabs ubeboede sletter, men vi fulgte ikke vejen, der går fra Eilat og Etzjon-Geber gennem Arabadalen.[a]

Nous avons donc passé plus loin, laissant de côté nos frères, les descendants d’Esaü[c], qui habitent la région de Séir, et nous avons pris la route de la vallée d’Eilath et d’Etsyôn-Guéber, puis, changeant de direction, nous avons pris la route du désert de Moab.

“Gani nag-agi lang kita sa aton mga kadugo nga mga kaliwat ni Esau, nga nagaestar sa Seir. Wala kita nag-agi sa dalan sang Kapatagan sang Jordan,[a] nga nagahalin sa mga banwa sang Elat kag Ezion Geber. Sang nagapanglakaton kita sa alagyan sa kamingawan sang Moab,

そこで私たちは、同族のエドム人が住むセイルをあとにし、南のエラテ、エツヨン・ゲベルに至るアラバ街道を横切って北へ向かい、モアブの荒野へと旅を続けました。

“그래서 우리는 우리 친척인 에서의 후손들이 사는 세일을 통과하여 엘랏과 에시온 – 게벨에서 올라가는 아라바 길을 지나서 모압의 광야 길을 따라 북쪽으로 올라갔습니다.

Zo trokken wij door Edom waar onze broeders woonden, kruisten de Arabah-weg, die naar Elat en Esjon-Geber in het zuiden voert, en trokken verder in noordelijke richting naar de woestijn Moab.

“Assim, passamos ao largo de nossos irmãos, os descendentes de Esaú, que habitam em Seir. Saímos da rota da Arabá, de Elate e de Eziom-Geber. Voltamos e fomos pela rota do deserto de Moabe.

Dessa forma, passámos através de Edom onde viviam os nossos parentes, percorrendo o caminho de Arabá que vai para o sul para Elate e para Eziom-Geber, e continuámos para o norte em direção do deserto de Moabe.

Şi astfel am trecut pe lângă fraţii noştri, urmaşii lui Esau, care locuiau în Seir, departe de drumul spre Araba, departe de Elat şi de Eţion-Gheber; apoi ne-am întors şi am luat-o pe drumul care traversează pustia Moabului.

Vi vandrade alltså fram bland våra bröder Esaus ättlingar som bodde i Seir och lämnade sedan Aravavägen, bort från Elat och Esjon-Gever och tog vägen mot Moabs öken.

ฉะนั้นเราจึงเดินทางผ่านพี่น้องของเรา คือวงศ์วานเอซาวซึ่งอาศัยในเสอีร์ หันจากเส้นทางอาราบาห์ซึ่งมาจากเอลัทและเอซีโอนเกเบอร์ และเลี้ยวไปตามทางถิ่นกันดารโมอับ

“于是，我们绕过我们亲属以扫的子孙所住的西珥，沿亚拉巴的路，经过以拉他、以旬·迦别，向摩押旷野走去。

「於是，我們繞過我們親屬以掃的子孫所住的西珥，沿亞拉巴的路，經過以拉他、以旬·迦別，向摩押曠野走去。
