Deuteronomy 19:10

so that innocent blood will not be shed [by blood avengers] in your land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and blood guilt will not be on you [for the death of an innocent man].

That innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee.

避難用の町が十分にあれば、罪のない者が殺されることもなく、不法な処刑が行われた責任を取ることもなくなります。

Zo zult u voorkomen dat in uw land onschuldigen worden gedood en zult u niet verantwoordelijk worden gesteld voor onrechtvaardig bloedvergieten.

Façam isso para que não se derrame sangue inocente na sua terra, a qual o Senhor, o seu Deus, lhes dá por herança, e para que não sejam culpados de derramamento de sangue.

På så sätt behöver inte oskyldiga människor dödas i det land som Herren, din Gud, ger dig och du behöver inte dra blodskuld över dig.
