Deuteronomy 14:1

“You are the sons of the Lord your God; [a]you shall not cut yourselves nor [b]shave your forehead for the sake of the dead,

Ye are the children of the Lord your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.

1-2 You are children of God, your God, so don’t mutilate your bodies or shave your heads in funeral rites for the dead. You only are a people holy to God, your God; God chose you out of all the people on Earth as his cherished personal treasure.

“You are the sons of the Lord your God; you shall not cut yourselves nor [a]shave your forehead for the sake of the dead.

You are the children of the Lord your God. Don’t cut yourselves to honor the dead. Don’t shave the front of your heads to honor the dead.

“Since you are the people of the Lord your God, never cut yourselves or shave the hair above your foreheads in mourning for the dead.

أَنْتُمْ أَبْنَاءُ لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ، فَلا تُجَرِّحُوا أَجْسَادَكُمْ، وَلا تَحْلِقُوا مُقَدِّمَةَ رُؤُوسِكُمْ حُزْناً عَلَى مَيْتٍ،

I er Guds børn. Derfor må I ikke snitte jer selv til blods eller barbere ansigtshåret[a] af for at vise jeres sorg over en, der er død, sådan som de andre folkeslag gør.

Ihr seid Kinder des Herrn, eures Gottes! Deshalb sollt ihr euch nicht die Haut einritzen oder das Haar über der Stirn abrasieren, wenn ihr um einen Verstorbenen trauert.

“Mga anak kamo sang Ginoo nga inyo Dios. Gani kon magpangasubo kamo sa patay, indi ninyo pagpilasan ang inyo kaugalingon ukon pagkiskisan ang inyo ulo.

あなたがたは神の民ですから、〔異邦人が偶像を拝むときするように〕体を傷つけたり、葬式の時に額をそったりしてはいけません。

“여러분은 여러분의 하나님 여호와의 백성입니다. 그러므로 죽은 사람 을 애도할 때 이방인들처럼 살을 베거나 이마의 털을 밀지 마십시오.

‘Omdat u het volk van God bent, mag u zich niet snijden als teken van rouw en ook het haar op uw voorhoofd niet afscheren.

“Vocês são os filhos do Senhor, o seu Deus. Não façam cortes no corpo nem rapem a frente da cabeça por causa dos mortos,

Como são filhos do Senhor, vosso Deus, nunca deem golpes em vós mesmos, como fazem os naturais da terra quando prestam culto aos seus ídolos, nem rapem os cabelos da testa nos funerais.

Voi sunteţi copiii Domnului, Dumnezeul vostru. Să nu vă faceţi crestături şi să nu vă radeţi partea din faţă a capului[a] pentru un mort,

Eftersom ni är Herrens, er Guds, barn ska ni inte rista er blodiga eller raka främre delen av huvudet när ni sörjer era döda. [a]

ท่านทั้งหลายเป็นบุตรของพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของท่าน ฉะนั้นเมื่อท่านไว้ทุกข์ให้ผู้ตาย อย่าเชือดเนื้อเถือหนังตัวเองหรือโกนหัว

“你们是你们上帝耶和华的儿女，不可为死人割伤自己或剃光前额。

你 们 是 耶 和 华 ─ 你 们 神 的 儿 女 。 不 可 为 死 人 用 刀 划 身 ， 也 不 可 将 额 上 剃 光 。
