Daniel 11:25

He will stir up his strength and courage against [his former Egyptian ally] the king of the South (Ptolemy VI) with a great army; so the king of the South will prepare an extremely great and powerful army to wage war, but he will not stand, for schemes will be devised against him.

And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.

“With a large army he will stir up his strength and courage against the king of the South. The king of the South will wage war with a large and very powerful army, but he will not be able to stand because of the plots devised against him.

وَيَسْتَثِيرُ هِمَّتَهُ وَيُجَنِّدُ قُوَّاتِهِ لِمُحَارَبَةِ مَلِكِ الْجَنُوبِ بِجَيْشٍ عَظِيمٍ وَيَتَأَهَّبُ مَلِكُ الْجَنُوبِ لِلْقِتَالِ بِجَيْشٍ ضَخْمٍ وَقَوِيٍّ جِدّاً، وَلَكِنَّهُ لَا يَصْمُدُ، لأَنَّ أَعْدَاءَهُ يَتَآمَرُونَ عَلَيْهِ.
