Daniel 10:11

So he said to me, “O Daniel, you highly regarded and greatly beloved man, understand the words that I am about to say to you and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you.” And while he was saying this word to me, I stood up trembling.

And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.

“‘Daniel,’ he said, ‘man of quality, listen carefully to my message. And get up on your feet. Stand at attention. I’ve been sent to bring you news.’“When he had said this, I stood up, but I was still shaking. 12-14 “‘Relax, Daniel,’ he continued, ‘don’t be afraid. From the moment you decided to humble yourself to receive understanding, your prayer was heard, and I set out to come to you. But I was waylaid by the angel-prince of the kingdom of Persia and was delayed for a good three weeks. But then Michael, one of the chief angel-princes, intervened to help me. I left him there with the prince of the kingdom of Persia. And now I’m here to help you understand what will eventually happen to your people. The vision has to do with what’s ahead.’ 15-17 “While he was saying all this, I looked at the ground and said nothing. Then I was surprised by something like a human hand that touched my lips. I opened my mouth and started talking to the messenger: ‘When I saw you, master, I was terror-stricken. My knees turned to water. I couldn’t move. How can I, a lowly servant, speak to you, my master? I’m paralyzed. I can hardly breathe!’ 18-19 “Then this humanlike figure touched me again and gave me strength. He said, ‘Don’t be afraid, friend. Peace. Everything is going to be all right. Take courage. Be strong.’“Even as he spoke, courage surged up within me. I said, ‘Go ahead, let my master speak. You’ve given me courage.’ 20-21 “He said, ‘Do you know why I’ve come here to you? I now have to go back to fight against the angel-prince of Persia, and when I get him out of the way, the angel-prince of Greece will arrive. But first let me tell you what’s written in The True Book. No one helps me in my fight against these beings except Michael, your angel-prince.’”

He said to me, “O Daniel, man of [m]high esteem, understand the words that I am about to tell you and stand [n]upright, for I have now been sent to you.” And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood up trembling.

The man said, “Daniel, you are highly respected. Think carefully about what I am going to say to you. And stand up. God has sent me to you.” When he said that, I trembled as I stood up.

He said, “Daniel, you who are highly esteemed, consider carefully the words I am about to speak to you, and stand up, for I have now been sent to you.” And when he said this to me, I stood up trembling.

And the man said to me, “Daniel, you are very precious to God, so listen carefully to what I have to say to you. Stand up, for I have been sent to you.” When he said this to me, I stood up, still trembling.

وَقَالَ لِي: «يَا دَانِيَالُ، أَيُّهَا الرَّجُلُ الْمَحْبُوبُ، افْهَمِ الْكَلامَ الَّذِي أُخَاطِبُكَ بِهِ، وَقِفْ عَلَى رِجْلَيْكَ لأَنَّنِي قَدْ أُرْسِلْتُ إِلَيْكَ». وَعِنْدَمَا قَالَ لِي هَذَا الْكَلامَ نَهَضْتُ مُرْتَعِداً.

„Daniel, Gud sætter stor pris på dig!” sagde han. „Rejs dig og lyt omhyggeligt til det, jeg har at sige, for Gud har sendt mig til dig!” Så rejste jeg mig op, stadig rystende af skræk.

Puis le personnage me dit : Daniel, homme bien-aimé de Dieu, sois attentif aux paroles que je t’adresse, mets-toi debout où tu es, car j’ai été maintenant envoyé vers toi. Pendant qu’il prononçait ces mots, je me relevai, tout tremblant.

Han sa till mig: ”Daniel, du som är mycket dyrbar, beakta noga vad jag har att säga dig, och res dig upp! Jag har sänts till dig.” När han talade så till mig reste jag mig darrande.

他对我说：“倍受眷爱的但以理啊，要留心听我说，站起来吧，因为我是奉命到你这里来的。”他说完这话，我便战战兢兢地站起来。

他 对 我 说 ： 大 蒙 眷 爱 的 但 以 理 啊 ， 要 明 白 我 与 你 所 说 的 话 ， 只 管 站 起 来 ， 因 为 我 现 在 奉 差 遣 来 到 你 这 里 。 他 对 我 说 这 话 ， 我 便 战 战 兢 兢 地 立 起 来 。

他對我說：「倍受眷愛的但以理啊，要留心聽我說，站起來吧，因為我是奉命到你這裡來的。」他說完這話，我便戰戰兢兢地站起來。
