Amos 3:2

“I have known [chosen, cared for, and loved] only you of all the families of the earth;Therefore I shall punish you for all your wickedness.”

You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.

“Out of all the families on earth, I picked you.Therefore, because of your special calling, I’m holding you responsible for all your sins.” 3-7 Do two people walk hand in hand if they aren’t going to the same place?Does a lion roar in the forest if there’s no carcass to devour?Does a young lion growl with pleasure if he hasn’t caught his supper?Does a bird fall to the ground if it hasn’t been hit with a stone?Does a trap spring shut if nothing trips it?When the alarm goes off in the city, aren’t people alarmed?And when disaster strikes the city, doesn’t God stand behind it?The fact is, God, the Master, does nothing without first telling his prophets the whole story.

إِيَّاكُمْ وَحْدَكُمُ اخْتَرْتُ مِنْ بَيْنِ جَمِيعِ قَبَائِلِ الأَرْضِ، لِهَذَا أُعَاقِبُكُمْ عَلَى جَمِيعِ آثَامِكُمْ.

Af alle jordens folkeslag er det jer, jeg har udvalgt! Derfor må jeg straffe jer, når I gør oprør imod mig.

Unter allen Völkern der Erde seid ihr das einzige, das ich als mein Eigentum erwählt habe. Deshalb ziehe ich euch nun für eure Sünden zur Rechenschaft.« Wer kann dem Auftrag Gottes ausweichen?

Je vous ai choisis, et vous seuls,de toutes les familles de la terre,aussi vous châtierai-jepour tous vos crimes.

Sa tanan nga nasyon sa bug-os nga kalibutan kamo lang gid ang akon ginpili nga mangin akon katawhan. Gani pagasilutan ko gid kamo tungod sa tanan ninyo nga mga sala.” Ginbuot sang Dios ang Buluhaton sang mga Propeta

「地上のすべての民の中から、あなたがただけを選んだ。それだけに、その罪を罰しないわけにはいかない。

“나는 땅의 모든 민족 중에서 너희만을 택하였다. 그러므로 내가 너희 모든 죄에 대하여 너희를 벌할 것이다.”

‘Uit alle volken heb Ik uitsluitend u gekozen. Daarom moet Ik u des te zwaarder straffen voor al uw zonden.

“Escolhi apenas vocês de todas as famílias da terra;por isso eu os castigarei por todas as suas maldades”.

De todos os povos da Terra, só a vocês eu escolhi. Por isso, tanto mais vos castigarei pelos vossos pecados.

«Numai pe voi vă cunosc[a] dintre toate clanurile pământului;de aceea vă voi şi pedepsi pentru toate fărădelegile voastre.

– Вы единственные, кого Я избрал[a] из всех народов земли;поэтому Я накажу вас за все ваши грехи.

“เจ้าเท่านั้นที่เราได้เลือกสรรไว้จากเผ่าพันธุ์ทั้งปวงในโลกฉะนั้นเราจะลงโทษเจ้าเนื่องด้วยบาปทั้งสิ้นของเจ้า”

‘世上万族之中，我只拣选了你们，所以我要因你们的罪恶而惩罚你们。’”

在 地 上 万 族 中 ， 我 只 认 识 你 们 ； 因 此 ， 我 必 追 讨 你 们 的 一 切 罪 孽 。

『世上萬族之中，我只揀選了你們，所以我要因你們的罪惡而懲罰你們。』」
