And [b]the anger of the Lord burned against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his irreverence; and he died there by the ark of God.

Then the Lord was very angry with Uzzah. That’s because what Uzzah did showed that he didn’t have any respect for the Lord. So God struck him down. He died there beside the ark of God.

فَاحْتَدَمَ غَضَبُ الرَّبِّ عَلَيْهِ، وَأَهْلَكَهُ لأَجْلِ جَسَارَتِهِ وَجَهْلِهِ، فَمَاتَ هُنَاكَ بِجِوَارِ التَّابُوتِ.

Da blev Herren vred og straffede Uzza, fordi han ikke viste ærefrygt for Guds Ark, som ikke måtte røres, og han døde på stedet.

Alors l’Eternel se mit en colère contre Ouzza et Dieu le frappa sur place à cause de sa faute. Ouzza mourut là, à côté du coffre de Dieu.

여호와께서 웃사의 불경한 행동에 노 하셔서 그를 치시자 그가 여호와의 궤 곁에서 죽었다.

Maar de Here richtte zijn toorn tegen Uzza en doodde hem ter plekke. Levenloos lag hij naast de ark.

Då blev Herren vred på Ussa och Gud slog ner honom för hans försyndelse och han dog där vid arken. [c]
