2 Samuel 6:21

So David said to Michal, “It was before the Lord [that I did this], who chose me above your father and all his house, to appoint me as ruler over Israel, the people of the Lord. Therefore I will celebrate [in pure enjoyment] before the Lord.

And David said unto Michal, It was before the Lord, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel: therefore will I play before the Lord.

So David said to Michal, “It was before the Lord, who chose me above your father and above all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel; therefore I will celebrate before the Lord.

David said to Michal, “I did it to honor the Lord. He chose me instead of your father or anyone else in Saul’s family. The Lord appointed me ruler over his people Israel. I will celebrate to honor the Lord.

David said to Michal, “It was before the Lord, who chose me rather than your father or anyone from his house when he appointed me ruler over the Lord’s people Israel—I will celebrate before the Lord.

David said to Michal, ‘It was before the Lord, who chose me rather than your father or anyone from his house when he appointed me ruler over the Lord’s people Israel – I will celebrate before the Lord.

David retorted to Michal, “I was dancing before the Lord, who chose me above your father and all his family! He appointed me as the leader of Israel, the people of the Lord, so I celebrate before the Lord.

فَأَجَابَهَا دَاوُدُ: «إِنَّمَا احْتَفَلْتُ فِي حَضْرَةِ الرَّبِّ الَّذِي اخْتَارَنِي دُونَ أَبِيكِ وَدُونَ أَيٍّ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ لِيُقِيمَنِي رَئِيساً عَلَى شَعْبِ الرَّبِّ إِسْرَائِيلَ.

David svarede: „Jeg dansede for Herren, som udvalgte mig til konge i stedet for din far og hans slægt, og som gjorde mig til leder for sit folk Israel.

David erwiderte: »Ich habe dem Herrn zu Ehren getanzt. Er hat deinem Vater und seinen Nachkommen die Herrschaft genommen und sie mir anvertraut. Mich hat er zum König über sein Volk Israel eingesetzt, und ihm zu Ehren will ich auch künftig tanzen.

David le respondió:―Lo hice en presencia del Señor, quien, en vez de escoger a tu padre o a cualquier otro de su familia, me escogió a mí y me hizo gobernante de Israel, que es el pueblo del Señor. De modo que seguiré bailando en presencia del Señor,

David répondit à Mikal : C’est devant l’Eternel que j’ai manifesté ma joie, lui qui m’a choisi de préférence à ton père et à toute sa famille, pour m’établir comme chef d’Israël, son peuple.

이때 다윗이 미갈의 말에 대꾸하였다. “나는 여호와 앞에서 춤을 춘 것이오! 여호와께서는 당신의 부친과 그의 가 족을 버리시고 나를 택하셔서 자기 백 성 이스라엘의 지도자로 삼으셨소. 그 래서 나는 앞으로도 [d]여호와를 기쁘시 게하는일이라면계속춤을출것이 오.

David svarade: ”Jag dansade inför Herren som har utvalt mig i stället för din far och hans släkt och gjort mig till furste över hans folk Israel. Jag ville visa min glädje i Herren.
