2 Samuel 19:42

Then all the men of Judah answered the men of Israel, “Because the king is a close relative to us. So why then are you angry about this matter? Have we eaten at all at the king’s expense? Or has anything been taken for us?”

And all the men of Judah answered the men of Israel, Because the king is near of kin to us: wherefore then be ye angry for this matter? have we eaten at all of the king's cost? or hath he given us any gift?

The men of Judah retorted, “Because the king is related to us, that’s why! But why make a scene? You don’t see us getting treated special because of it, do you?”

Then all the men of Judah answered the men of Israel, “Because the king is a close relative to [u]us. Why then [v]are you angry about this matter? Have we eaten at all at the king’s expense, or has [w]anything been taken for us?”

All the men of Judah answered the men of Israel. They said, “We did that because the king is our close relative. So why should you be angry about what happened? Have we eaten any of the king’s food? Have we taken anything for ourselves?”

The men of Judah replied, “The king is one of our own kinsmen. Why should this make you angry? We haven’t eaten any of the king’s food or received any special favors!”

فَأَجَابَ رِجَالُ يَهُوذَا رِجَالَ إِسْرَائِيلَ: «لأَنَّ الْمَلِكَ قَرِيبٌ لَنَا، فَمَاذَا يُثِيرُ غَيْظَكُمْ فِي هَذَا الأَمْرِ؟ هَلْ أَكَلْنَا شَيْئاً مِنْ مَؤُونَةِ الْمَلِكِ؟ هَلْ نِلْنَا مُكَافَأَةً عَلَى ذَلِكَ؟»

Nogle af mændene fra Nordriget beklagede sig til kongen over, at det udelukkende var mænd fra Juda, der havde fået den ære at eskortere ham, hans familie og alle hans mænd over Jordanfloden.

Unterwegs kamen die Israeliten zum König und beklagten sich: »Warum haben ausgerechnet die Judäer dich, deine Familie und deine Truppen aus Mahanajim abgeholt und über den Jordan geleitet? Dazu hatten sie doch gar kein Recht!«

Los de Judá respondieron:―¿Y a qué viene ese enojo? ¡El rey es nuestro pariente cercano! ¿Acaso hemos vivido a costa del rey? ¿Acaso nos hemos aprovechado de algo?

Alors les gens du Nord vinrent trouver le roi et lui demandèrent : Pourquoi nos compatriotes, les hommes de Juda, se sont-ils emparés furtivement de toi pour te faire traverser le Jourdain, toi, ta famille et tous tes gens ?

Nagsabat ang mga taga-Juda sa mga soldado sang Israel, “Ginhimo namon ini tungod kay ang hari amon malapit nga paryente. Gani ngaa mangakig gid kamo? Nakabaton bala kami sang pagkaon ukon sang bisan ano nga regalo halin sa iya? Wala gid!”

그러자유다사람들이이렇게대답하 였다. “왕이 우리 지파 사람이기 때문 에 그렇게 했을 뿐이다. 어째서 너희는 이런일로화를내느냐? 우리는왕에 게아무폐도끼친것이없다. 왕은우 리를 먹여 주지 않았고 우리에게 선물 을준것도없다.”

‘Maar wat is daartegen?’ vroegen de mannen van Juda. ‘De koning hoort toch bij onze stam? Waarom maakt u zich daar zo druk over? Wij hebben hem hiervoor niets laten betalen, hij heeft ons niets te eten gegeven en ons ook geen geschenken gegeven!’

Todos os homens de Judá responderam aos israelitas: “Fizemos isso porque o rei é nosso parente mais chegado. Por que vocês estão irritados? Acaso comemos das provisões do rei ou tomamos dele alguma coisa?”

“E que mal há nisso?”, perguntaram os de Judá. “O rei é da nossa tribo. Por que razão haveriam de se sentir por isso? Nós não lhe pedimos nada em troca; o rei não nos forneceu nem concedeu nada em recompensa!”

”Det är väl inget att bli arg för!” svarade Juda män. ”Kungen kommer från vår stam. Men vi har inte bett om något för egen del. Han har inte ens behövt dela med sig av sina förråd till oss.”

คนยูดาห์โต้ตอบว่า “เราทำเช่นนั้นก็เพราะกษัตริย์ทรงเกี่ยวโยงใกล้ชิดกับพวกเรา ทำไมเรื่องแค่นี้พวกท่านต้องโกรธด้วย? เรากินเสบียงใดๆ ของกษัตริย์หรือ? มีสิ่งใดที่เราฉกฉวยมาเป็นของตนหรือ?”

犹大人答道：“我们这样做是因为王是我们的亲族。你们为什么生气呢？难道我们吃了王的供应，得了什么礼物吗？”

犹 大 众 人 回 答 以 色 列 人 说 ： 因 为 王 与 我 们 是 亲 属 ， 你 们 为 何 因 这 事 发 怒 呢 ？ 我 们 吃 了 王 的 甚 麽 呢 ？ 王 赏 赐 了 我 们 甚 麽 呢 ？

猶大人答道：「我們這樣做是因為王是我們的親族。你們為什麼生氣呢？難道我們吃了王的供應，得了什麼禮物嗎？」
