2 Samuel 16:17

Absalom said to Hushai, “Is this your loyalty to your friend? Why did you not go with your friend?”

And Absalom said to Hushai, Is this thy kindness to thy friend? why wentest thou not with thy friend?

Absalom said to Hushai, “Is this the way you show devotion to your good friend? Why didn’t you go with your friend David?” 18-19 “Because,” said Hushai, “I want to be with the person that God and this people and all Israel have chosen. And I want to stay with him. Besides, who is there to serve other than the son? Just as I served your father, I’m now ready to serve you.”

Absalom said to Hushai, “Is this your [d]loyalty to your friend? Why did you not go with your friend?”

Absalom said to Hushai, “So this is the way you show love to your friend? If he’s your friend, why didn’t you go with him?”

Absalom said to Hushai, “So this is the love you show your friend? If he’s your friend, why didn’t you go with him?”

“Is this the way you treat your friend David?” Absalom asked him. “Why aren’t you with him?”

فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبْشَالُومُ: «أَبِهَذِهِ الطَّرِيقَةِ تُكَافِئُ صَدِيقَكَ؟ لِمَاذَا لَمْ تَذْهَبْ مَعَهُ؟»

„Er det en måde at behandle din ven David på?” spurgte Absalom. „Hvorfor er du ikke fulgt med ham?”

押 沙 龙 问 户 筛 说 ： 这 是 你 恩 待 朋 友 麽 ？ 为 甚 麽 不 与 你 的 朋 友 同 去 呢 ？

押沙龍問戶篩說：「這就是你對朋友的忠誠嗎？你為什麼不跟你的朋友去呢？」
