2 Kings 5:7

When the king of Israel read the letter, he [c]tore his clothes [in shock and outrage at the request] and said, “Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man sends to me [a request] to heal a man of his leprosy? Just consider [what he is asking] and see how he is seeking an opportunity [for a battle] with me.”

And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me.

When the king of Israel read the letter, he was terribly upset, ripping his robe to pieces. He said, “Am I a god with the power to bring death or life that I get orders to heal this man from his disease? What’s going on here? That king’s trying to pick a fight, that’s what!”

فَلَمَّا اطَّلَعَ مَلِكُ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلَى الرِّسَالَةِ مَزَّقَ ثِيَابَهُ وَقَالَ: «هَلْ أَنَا اللهُ حَتَّى أُمِيتَ وَأُحْيِيَ، فَيُرْسِلَ إِلَيَّ هَذَا لِكَيْ أَشْفِيَ رَجُلاً مِنْ بَرَصِهِ؟ اعْلَمُوا أَنَّهُ يُحَاوِلُ أَنْ يَجِدَ مُبَرِّراً لِمُحَارَبَتِنَا».

„Hvordan skulle jeg kunne helbrede nogen,” jamrede kongen. „Er jeg måske Gud? Er jeg herre over liv og død? Hvad er han ude på? Er det her et påskud til at angribe os igen?” I ren og skær fortvivlelse rev han sit tøj i stykker.

그러나 이스라엘 왕은 그 편지를 읽고 나서 자기 옷을 찢으며 이렇게 외쳤다. “내가 사람을 죽이고 살리는 하나님이란 말인가? 어째서 문둥병자를 고치라고 나에게 보냈는가? 시리아 왕이 나에게 시빗거리를 찾는 것이 틀림없다!”

以色列王读完信后，就撕裂衣服说：“难道我是上帝吗？我能操纵人的生死吗？这人竟叫我医好一个人的麻风病！他只是想找借口攻打我。”

以 色 列 王 看 了 信 就 撕 裂 衣 服 ， 说 ： 我 岂 是 神 ， 能 使 人 死 使 人 活 呢 ？ 这 人 竟 打 发 人 来 ， 叫 我 治 好 他 的 大 ? 疯 。 你 们 看 一 看 ， 这 人 何 以 寻 隙 攻 击 我 呢 ？

以色列王讀完信後，就撕裂衣服說：「難道我是上帝嗎？我能操縱人的生死嗎？這人竟叫我醫好一個人的痲瘋病！他只是想找藉口攻打我。」
