2 Kings 3:2

He did evil in the sight of the Lord, but not like his father and mother; for he put away the sacred pillar of Baal that his father had made.

And he wrought evil in the sight of the Lord; but not like his father, and like his mother: for he put away the image of Baal that his father had made.

Joram did what was evil in the sight of the Lord. But he wasn’t as bad as his father and mother had been. Joram’s father had made a sacred stone used to worship the god named Baal. Joram got rid of it.

وَارْتَكَبَ الشَّرَّ فِي عَيْنَيِ الرَّبِّ، وَلَكِنَّهُ لَمْ يُوْغِلْ فِيهِ مِثْلَمَا أَوْغَلَ أَبُوهُ وَأُمُّهُ، فَإِنَّهُ أَزَالَ تِمْثَالَ الْبَعْلِ الَّذِي نَصَبَهُ أَبُوهُ.
