Jehoiachin changed his prison clothes [for palace garments] and he dined regularly in the king’s presence for the remainder of his life;

And changed his prison garments: and he did eat bread continually before him all the days of his life.

So Jehoiachin put his prison clothes away. For the rest of Jehoiachin’s life the king provided what he needed.

وَأَبْدَلَ ثِيَابَ سِجْنِهِ، فَصَارَ يُنَادِمُ الْمَلِكَ عَلَى مَائِدَتِهِ بِصُورَةٍ دَائِمَةٍ.
