2 Kings 17:16

They abandoned all the commandments of the Lord their God and made for themselves cast images of two calves; and they made an Asherah [idol] and worshiped all the [starry] host of heaven and served Baal.

وَنَبَذُوا جَمِيعَ وَصَايَا الرَّبِّ إِلَهِهِمْ، وَصَنَعُوا لأَنْفُسِهِمْ عِجْلَيْنِ مَسْبُوكَيْنِ، وَأَقَامُوا تَمَاثِيلَ لِعَشْتَارُوثَ وَسَجَدُوا لِجَمِيعِ كَوَاكِبِ السَّمَاءِ وَعَبَدُوا الْبَعْلَ.

Ils avaient délaissé tous les commandements de l’Eternel, leur Dieu. Ils s’étaient fabriqué deux veaux en métal fondu[i], ils avaient dressé des poteaux représentant la déesse Ashéra. Ils s’étaient prosternés devant tous les astres du ciel et ils avaient rendu un culte au dieu Baal.
