2 Chronicles 8:6

and Baalath and all the storage cities that Solomon had, and all the cities for his chariots and the cities for his horsemen, and all that Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, in Lebanon, and in all the land under his rule.

كَمَا بَنَى مَدِينَةَ بَعْلَةَ وَكُلَّ الْمُدُنِ الَّتِي جَعَلَهَا مَخَازِنَ لَهُ، وَجَمِيعَ مُدُنِ حَظَائِرِ الْمَرْكَبَاتِ وَمُدُنِ الْفُرْسَانِ، وَكُلَّ مَا رَغِبَ فِي بِنَائِهِ وَتَرْمِيمِهِ فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ وَفِي لُبْنَانَ وَفِي كُلِّ أَرْجَاءِ سَلْطَنَتِهِ.

Endvidere udbyggede han Ba’alat og andre forsyningsbyer foruden byerne, hvor han indrettede de kongelige heste- og vognstalde. Han fuldførte således alle de byggeplaner, han havde for Jerusalem, Libanons bjerge og hele det store rige, han regerede over. 7-8 Salomon udskrev sine tvangsarbejdere fra de folk, Israel havde besejret—hittitterne, amoritterne, perizzitterne, hivvitterne og jebusitterne.
