2 Chronicles 8:14

Now in accordance with the ordinance of his father David, he appointed the divisions of the priests for their service, and the Levites for their duties of praise and ministering and serving before the priests as every day required, and the gatekeepers by their divisions at every gate; for David the man of God had so commanded.

And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required: the porters also by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded.

وَنَظَّمَ خَدَمَاتِ وَوَاجِبَاتِ فِرَقِ الْكَهَنَةِ وَاللّاوِيِّينَ بِمُقْتَضَى مَا رَتَّبَهُ أَبُوهُ دَاوُدُ، فَكَانَ اللّاوِيُّونَ يَقُومُونَ بِالتَّسْبِيحِ وَالْخِدْمَةِ تَحْتَ إِشْرَافِ الْكَهَنَةِ، وَحِرَاسَةِ الأَبْوَابِ حَسَبَ فِرَقِهِمْ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ بِيَوْمِهِ، تَنْفِيذاً لأَوَامِرِ دَاوُدَ رَجُلِ اللهِ.

또 솔로몬은 제사장들에게 업무를 맡기는 일에 있어서도 그의 아버지 다윗이 만들어 놓은 규정을 따랐으며 레위인들에게는 매일 찬송하고 제사장들을 돕는 일과 그리고 순번에 따라 성전 문을 지키는 일을 맡겼다.

Tot el a pus în slujbă, după hotărârea tatălui său, David, cetele preoţilor, potrivit slujbei lor, pe leviţi, potrivit responsabilităţilor lor de a lăuda pe Domnul şi de a sluji în prezenţa preoţilor după nevoile zilnice şi pe portari, potrivit cetelor lor, la fiecare poartă, întocmai cum poruncise David, omul lui Dumnezeu.
