2 Chronicles 33:14

After this he built an outer wall for the City of David on the west side of Gihon, in the river valley, to the entrance of the Fish Gate; and he encircled the [b]Ophel with it and made it very high. Then he put military commanders in all the fortified cities of Judah.

وَمَا لَبِثَ أَنْ أَعَادَ بِنَاءَ سُورٍ خَارِجَ مَدِينَةِ دَاوُدَ، غَرْبِيَّ نَهْرِ جِيحُونَ فِي الْوَادِي، حَتَّى مَدْخَلِ بَابِ السَّمَكِ، وَأَحَاطَ قَلْعَةَ الأَكَمَةِ بِسُورٍ مُرْتَفِعٍ جِدّاً، وَأَقَامَ قَادَةَ جُيُوشِهِ فِي جَمِيعِ مُدُنِ يَهُوذَا الْحَصِينَةِ.

Efter detta byggde han den yttre muren kring Davids stad väster om Gichon i dalen, till Fiskporten och runt Ofel, och han gjorde den mycket hög. Han tillsatte också befälhavare i alla befästa städer i Juda.
