2 Chronicles 13:12

Behold, God is with us at our head, and His priests [are here] with their signal trumpets to sound an alarm against you. O sons of Israel, do not fight against the Lord God of your fathers, for you cannot succeed.”

And, behold, God himself is with us for our captain, and his priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against the Lord God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.

“Can’t you see the obvious? God is on our side; he’s our leader. And his priests with trumpets are all ready to blow the signal to battle. O Israel—don’t fight against God, the God of your ancestors. You will not win this battle.” 13-18 While Abijah was speaking, Jeroboam had sent men around to take them by surprise from the rear: Jeroboam in front of Judah and the ambush behind. When Judah looked back, they saw they were attacked front and back. They prayed desperately to God, the priests blew their trumpets, and the soldiers of Judah shouted their battle cry. At the battle cry, God routed Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah. The army of Israel scattered before Judah; God gave them the victory. Abijah and his troops slaughtered them—500,000 of Israel’s best fighters were killed that day. The army of Israel fell flat on its face—a humiliating defeat. The army of Judah won hands down because they trusted God, the God of their ancestors. 19-21 Abijah followed up his victory by pursuing Jeroboam, taking the towns of Bethel, Jeshanah, and Ephron with their surrounding villages. Jeroboam never did recover from his defeat while Abijah lived. Later on God struck him down and he died. Meanwhile Abijah flourished; he married fourteen wives and ended up with a family of twenty-two sons and sixteen daughters.

Now behold, God is with us at our head and His priests with the signal trumpets to sound the alarm against you. O sons of Israel, do not fight against the Lord God of your fathers, for you will not succeed.”

God is with us. He’s our leader. His priests will blow their trumpets. They will sound the battle cry against you. People of Israel, don’t fight against the Lord. He’s the God of your people who lived long ago. You can’t possibly succeed.”

So you see, God is with us. He is our leader. His priests blow their trumpets and lead us into battle against you. O people of Israel, do not fight against the Lord, the God of your ancestors, for you will not succeed!”

هَا الرَّبُّ مَعَنَا فِي طَلِيعَتِنَا، وَسَيَهْتِفُ كَهَنَتُهُ بِأَبْوَاقِهِمْ هُتَافَ الْحَرْبِ ضِدَّكُمْ. فَيَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لَا تُحَارِبُوا الرَّبَّ إِلَهَ آبَائِكُمْ لأَنَّكُمْ لَا تُفْلِحُونَ».

Derfor er Gud med os—ja, han er vores fører. Når hans præster blæser i krigstrompeterne, vil han lede os i kamp. Hør efter, israelitter, opgiv dog at kæmpe imod Herren, jeres fædres Gud. I kan umuligt vinde kampen.”

Réfléchissez : Dieu est avec nous, il est notre chef, ses prêtres sont munis des trompettes[f] retentissantes, prêts à en sonner contre vous. Israélites ! Ne combattez pas contre l’Eternel, le Dieu de vos ancêtres, car vous ne réussirez pas dans cette entreprise !

Daarom staat God aan onze kant, Hij is onze leider. Zijn priesters zullen, blazend op hun trompetten, voorop gaan wanneer wij tegen u ten strijde trekken. Volk van Israël, vecht niet tegen de Here, de God van uw voorouders, want dat zal u duur komen te staan.’

Iată că în fruntea noastră este Dumnezeu Însuşi, precum şi preoţii Lui cu trâmbiţele răsunătoare, ca să sune împotriva voastră. Israeliţi, nu vă războiţi cu Domnul, Dumnezeul strămoşilor voştri, căci nu veţi birui!“

พระเจ้าทรงอยู่กับเรา ทรงเป็นผู้นำของเรา ปุโรหิตของพระองค์เป่าแตรศึกสู้กับท่าน ชาวอิสราเอลเอ๋ย อย่าสู้รบกับพระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของบรรพบุรุษของท่านเลย เพราะท่านไม่มีวันชนะหรอก”

上帝与我们同在，祂率领我们。祂的祭司就要吹响向你们进攻的号角。以色列人啊，不要与你们祖先的上帝耶和华作对，因为你们绝不会得胜。”

率 领 我 们 的 是 神 ， 我 们 这 里 也 有 神 的 祭 司 拿 号 向 你 们 吹 出 大 声 。 以 色 列 人 哪 ， 不 要 与 耶 和 华 ─ 你 们 列 祖 的 神 争 战 ， 因 你 们 必 不 能 亨 通 。
