1 Samuel 15:18

and the Lord sent you on a mission, and said, ‘Go, totally destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are eliminated.’

And the Lord sent you on a mission and told you, ‘Go and completely destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, until they are all dead.’

وَكَلَّفَكَ بِمُحَارَبَةِ عَمَالِيقَ وَالْقَضَاءِ عَلَيْهِ قَضَاءً مُبْرَماً؟

Og her gav han dig en bestemt opgave og sagde udtrykkeligt: ‚Gå ud og tilintetgør de syndige amalekitter, indtil de alle er udryddet.’

Er hat dich zu den Amalekitern geschickt und dir befohlen: ›Vollstrecke an ihnen mein Urteil. Kämpfe gegen sie, bis du sie völlig vernichtet hast, denn sie sind ein gottloses Volk.‹

Hij gaf u een duidelijke opdracht: “Ga en vernietig de boosdoeners, de Amalekieten, tot zij allemaal dood zijn.”

Och han gav dig ett uppdrag och sa till dig: ’Gå och vig de syndiga amalekiterna åt förintelse. Strid mot dem tills du utplånat dem alla!’
