1 Samuel 11:2

But Nahash the Ammonite told them, “I will make a treaty with you on this condition, that I will [c]gouge out the right eye of every one of you, and make it a disgrace upon all Israel.”

And Nahash the Ammonite answered them, On this condition will I make a covenant with you, that I may thrust out all your right eyes, and lay it for a reproach upon all Israel.

Nahash said, “I’ll make a treaty with you on one condition: that every right eye among you be gouged out! I’ll humiliate every last man and woman in Israel before I’m done!”

But Nahash the Ammonite said to them, “I will make it with you on this condition, that I will gouge out the right eye of every one of you, thus I will make it a reproach on all Israel.”

Nahash, the king of Ammon, replied, “I will make a peace treaty with you. But I’ll do it only on one condition. You must let me put out the right eye of every one of you. I want to bring shame on the whole nation of Israel.”

But Nahash the Ammonite replied, “I will make a treaty with you only on the condition that I gouge out the right eye of every one of you and so bring disgrace on all Israel.”

فَأَجَابَهُمْ: «حَسَناً، وَلَكِنْ بِشَرْطِ أَنْ أَقْلَعَ الْعَيْنَ الْيُمْنَى لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْكُمْ، فَيُصْبِحَ ذَلِكَ عَاراً عَلَى كُلِّ إِسْرَائِيلَ».

„På én betingelse,” svarede Nahash. „Jeg vil stikke højre øje ud på samtlige indbyggere i byen som en hån mod Israel.”

»Einverstanden«, antwortete König Nahasch. »Ich will das Bündnis mit euch eingehen, doch nur unter einer Bedingung: Jedem Einwohner eurer Stadt werde ich das rechte Auge ausstechen, damit ihr Schande über ganz Israel bringt.«

Pero nagsabat si Nahash, “Mahimo lang ako sang kasugtanan sa inyo sa isa ka kondisyon, nga lukaton ko ang tuo nga mata sang kada isa sa inyo agod mahuy-an ang bug-os nga Israel.”

그때 나하스는 “좋다. 하지만 한 가지 조건이 있다. 내가 너희 오른눈을 모조리 뽑아 온 이스라엘의 치욕거리로 삼겠다” 하고 대답하였다.

‘Goed, maar op één voorwaarde,’ antwoordde Nachas. ‘Ik zal bij ieder van u het rechteroog uitsteken als een vernedering voor heel Israël!’

Contudo, Naás, o amonita, respondeu: “Só farei um tratado com vocês sob a condição de que eu arranque o olho direito de cada um de vocês e assim humilhe todo o Israel”.
