that Your eyes may be open toward this house night and day, toward the place of which You have said, ‘My Name (Presence) shall be there,’ that You may listen to the prayer which Your servant shall pray toward this place.

حَتَّى لَا تَغْفَلَ عَيْنَاكَ عَنْ هَذَا الْهَيْكَلِ لَيْلاً وَنَهَاراً، هَذَا الْمَوْضِعِ الَّذِي قُلْتَ إِنَّ اسْمَكَ يَكُونُ فِيهِ، فَتَسْمَعُ الصَّلاةَ الَّتِي يَتَضَرَّعُ بِها عَبْدُكَ فِي هَذَا الْمَوْضِعِ.

Våg over dette hus både dag og nat—det sted, hvor du har lovet at tage bolig—og når jeg vender mig mod din bolig for at bede, lyt da til min bøn og svar mig.
