1 Kings 8:17

Now it was [determined] in the heart of my father David to build a house (temple) for the Name of the Lord, the God of Israel.

Then Solomon said, “My father, David, wanted to build this Temple to honor the name of the Lord, the God of Israel.

وَقَدْ نَوَى دَاوُدُ أَبِي أَنْ يُشَيِّدَ هَيْكَلاً لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِ إِسْرَائِيلَ.

Salomon fortsatte: „Min far ville så gerne bygge et hus til Herren, Israels Gud,

Mein Vater David hatte schon lange einen großen Wunsch: Er wollte dem Herrn, dem Gott Israels, einen Tempel bauen.
