Then Asa took all the silver and gold left in the treasuries of the house of the Lord and the treasuries of the palace of the king and handed them over to his servants. And King Asa sent them to Ben-hadad the son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, king of Aram (Syria), who lived in Damascus, saying,

Asa took all the silver and gold left among the treasures of the Lord’s temple and his own palace. He put his officials in charge of it. He sent the officials to Ben-Hadad. Ben-Hadad was king of Aram. He was ruling in Damascus. He was the son of Tabrimmon and the grandson of Hezion.

Asa then took all the silver and gold that was left in the treasuries of the Lord’s temple and of his own palace. He entrusted it to his officials and sent them to Ben-Hadad son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, the king of Aram, who was ruling in Damascus.

فَجَمَعَ آسَا بَقِيَّةَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ الْمَوْجُودَةَ فِي خَزَائِنِ بَيْتِ الرَّبِّ وَخَزائِنِ قَصْرِهِ، وَأَعْطَاهَا لِرِجَالِهِ، وَأَرْسَلَهُمْ إِلَى بَنْهَدَدَ بْنِ طَبْرِيمُونَ بْنِ حَزْيُونَ مَلِكِ أَرَامَ الْمُقِيمِ فِي دِمَشْقَ قَائِلاً:

Da tog kong Asa alt det guld og sølv, der var tilbage i Herrens hus og kongepaladset og befalede nogle af sine mænd at bringe det til den aramæiske konge, Ben-Hadad, som havde residens i Damaskus (han var søn af Tabrimmon, som var søn af Hezjon). De overbragte samtidig følgende besked fra kong Asa:

Da schickte König Asa eine Gesandtschaft nach Damaskus zu König Ben-Hadad von Syrien, dem Sohn von Tabrimmon und Enkel von Hesjon. Asa gab den Gesandten alles Silber und Gold mit, das vom Tempelschatz noch übrig war, dazu Geschenke aus der königlichen Schatzkammer. Sie sollten Ben-Hadad Folgendes ausrichten:

Entonces Asá tomó todo el oro y la plata que había quedado en los tesoros del templo del Señor y de su propio palacio, y les encargó a sus funcionarios que se los llevaran a Ben Adad, hijo de Tabrimón y nieto de Hezión, rey de Siria, que estaba gobernando en Damasco. Y le envió este mensaje:

Entonces Asá tomó todo el oro y la plata que habían quedado en los tesoros del templo del Señor y de su propio palacio, y les encargó a sus funcionarios que se los llevaran a Ben Adad, hijo de Tabrimón y nieto de Hezión, rey de Siria, que estaba gobernando en Damasco. Y le envió este mensaje:

Alors Asa prit tout l’argent et l’or qui étaient restés dans le trésor du temple de l’Eternel[g] et les richesses du palais royal, et il les remit à ses ministres pour les faire porter à Ben-Hadad, fils de Tabrimmôn et petit-fils de Hézyiôn, roi de Syrie qui résidait à Damas. Il les accompagna du message suivant :

Ginpanguha ni Asa ang tanan nga pilak kag bulawan nga nabilin sa mga bodega sang templo sang Ginoo kag sang iya palasyo. Gin-intrigar niya ini sa iya mga opisyal, kag ginsugo niya sila nga dal-on ini kay Haring Ben Hadad sang Aram[e] nga nagaestar sa Damascus. Si Ben Hadad anak ni Tabrimon kag apo ni Hezion.

그래서 아사왕은 성전의 창고와 궁전에 있는 은과 금을 모조리 끄집어내어 다브림몬의 아들이며 헤시온의 손자인 시리아의 벤 – 하닷왕에게 갖다 주라고 자기 신하들을 다마스커스로 보내며 이런 전갈을 보냈다.

Asaʼs reactie daarop was dat hij al het zilver en goud dat van de tempelschat was overgebleven, en alle paleisschatten aan zijn hovelingen gaf om naar koning Benhadad van Syrië in Damascus te brengen, met daarbij de boodschap:

Então Asa ajuntou a prata e o ouro que haviam sobrado no tesouro do templo do Senhor e do seu próprio palácio. Confiou tudo isso a alguns dos seus oficiais e os enviou a Ben-Hadade, filho de Tabriom e neto de Heziom, rei da Síria, que governava em Damasco,

Asa a luat tot argintul şi aurul care rămăsese în vistieriile Casei Domnului şi în vistieriile palatului regelui şi l-a dat slujitorilor săi. Apoi, regele Asa i-a trimis pe aceştia la Ben-Hadad, fiul lui Tab-Rimon, fiul lui Hezion, regele Aramului, care locuia în Damasc, zicându-i astfel:
