1 Corinthians 13:2

And if I have the gift of prophecy [and speak a new message from God to the people], and understand all mysteries, and [possess] all knowledge; and if I have all [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but do not have love [reaching out to others], I am nothing.

If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing. 3-7 If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.Love never gives up.Love cares more for others than for self.Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.Love doesn’t strut,Doesn’t have a swelled head,Doesn’t force itself on others,Isn’t always “me first,”Doesn’t fly off the handle,Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,Doesn’t revel when others grovel,Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,Puts up with anything,Trusts God always,Always looks for the best,Never looks back,But keeps going to the end. 8-10 Love never dies. Inspired speech will be over some day; praying in tongues will end; understanding will reach its limit. We know only a portion of the truth, and what we say about God is always incomplete. But when the Complete arrives, our incompletes will be canceled.

Si profetizara, y conociera todo lo que está oculto, y entendiera todas las cosas; y si fuera tanta mi fe que pudiera trasladar montañas, pero no tengo amor, no soy nada.

Ug bisan makasugilon ako sa pulong sa Dios ug makasabot sa tanang tinagong mga kamatuoran ug sa tanang kahibalo, ug bisan mapabalhin ko ang bukid tungod sa akong dakong pagtuo, kon wala akoy gugma wala gayod akoy kapuslanan.

A kdybych se mohl honosit, že mými ústy mluví Bůh a že znám veškerá tajemství,a kdybych měl tak velikou víru, že bych dokázal přenášet hory– jestliže nemám lásku, nejsem nic.

Kag bisan makasugid ako sang mensahi sang Dios kag makahibalo sang tanan nga tinago nga mga kamatuoran pati ang nagkalain-lain nga mga kaalam, kag bisan mapasaylo ko ang bukid tungod sang akon dako nga pagtuo, kon wala ako sing gugma wala gid ako sing pulos.

Kad bih imao dar prorokovanja, kad bih razumio sva otajstva i imao sve znanje te takvu vjeru da bih i gore premještao, a ljubavi ne bih imao, bio bih - ništa.

Se avessi il dono della profezia e penetrassi tutti i misteri, e conoscessi tutto di tutto, ma non amassi gli altri, a che cosa mi servirebbe? Se anche avessi il dono di una fede tale da far spostare le montagne con un ordine, non sarei nulla, senza lʼamore.

Dersom jeg har fått evner til å bringe fram budskap fra Gud, kjenner til alle Guds hemmeligheter og har kunnskap fra Gud, om jeg har tro som er så sterk at jeg kan flytte fjell, men ikke viser kjærlighet, da er mine evner verdiløse.

即使我能做先知讲道，又明白各样的奥秘，而且学问渊博，甚至有移开山岭的信心，如果没有爱，我仍然算不了什么。

我 若 有 先 知 讲 道 之 能 ， 也 明 白 各 样 的 奥 秘 ， 各 样 的 知 识 ， 而 且 有 全 备 的 信 ， 叫 我 能 够 移 山 ， 却 没 有 爱 ， 我 就 算 不 得 甚 麽 。

即使我能作先知講道，又明白各樣的奧祕，而且學問淵博，甚至有移開山嶺的信心，如果沒有愛，我仍然算不了什麼。
