1 Chronicles 29:2

So with all my ability I have provided for the house of my God the gold for the things of gold, silver for the things of silver, bronze for the things of bronze, iron for the things of iron, and wood for the things of wood, as well as onyx stones and stones to be inlaid, stones of antimony (a brittle, silvery-white metal) and stones of various colors, and all kinds of precious stones and alabaster in abundance.

Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.

Now with all my ability I have provided for the house of my God the gold for the things of gold, and the silver for the things of silver, and the bronze for the things of bronze, the iron for the things of iron, and wood for the things of wood, onyx stones and inlaid stones, stones of antimony and stones of various colors, and all kinds of precious stones and alabaster in abundance.

With all my riches I’ve done everything I could for the temple of my God. I’ve provided gold for the gold work and silver for the silver work. I’ve provided bronze for the bronze work and iron for the iron work. I’ve given wood for the things that will be made out of wood. I’ve given onyx and turquoise for the settings. I’ve given stones of different colors and all kinds of fine stone and marble. I’ve provided everything in huge amounts.

With all my resources I have provided for the temple of my God—gold for the gold work, silver for the silver, bronze for the bronze, iron for the iron and wood for the wood, as well as onyx for the settings, turquoise,[a] stones of various colors, and all kinds of fine stone and marble—all of these in large quantities.

وَقَدْ بَذَلْتُ كُلَّ جَهْدِي لِتَجْهِيزِ مَا يَتَطَلَّبُهُ بِنَاءُ هَيْكَلِ إِلَهِي مِنْ مَوَادَّ، فَوَفَّرْتُ الذَّهَبَ لِمَا يُصْنَعُ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، وَالْفِضَّةَ لِمَا يُصْنَعُ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ، وَالنُّحَاسَ لِمَا يُصْنَعُ مِنْ نُحَاسٍ، وَالْحَدِيدَ لِمَا يُصْنَعُ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ، وَالْخَشَبَ لِمَا يُصْنَعُ مِنْ خَشَبٍ، وَحِجَارَةَ الْجَزَعِ وَجَوَاهِرَ ثَمِينَةً لِلتَّرْصِيعِ، وَحِجَارَةً ذَاتَ أَلْوَانٍ مُخْتَلِفَةٍ، وَحِجَارَةً كَرِيمَةً وَرُخَاماً كَثِيراً.

Quant à moi, j’ai consacré tous mes efforts à préparer pour le temple de mon Dieu de l’or, de l’argent, du bronze, du fer et du bois pour tout ce qui est à fabriquer avec ces divers matériaux. J’ai préparé aussi des pierres d’onyx et des pierres à enchâsser, des pierres brillantes et de diverses couleurs, toutes sortes de pierres précieuses et des blocs de marbre blanc en abondance[a].

Uit alle bronnen die ik tot mijn beschikking had, heb ik zoveel mogelijk materialen gehaald die nodig zijn voor de bouw: voldoende goud, zilver, koper, ijzer, hout, grote hoeveelheden chrysopraas, andere kostbare stenen in allerlei kleuren, kostbare edelstenen en marmer.

Jag har gjort allt jag kan för att till min Guds hus skaffa guld till det som ska vara av guld, silver till det som ska vara av silver, koppar till det som ska vara av koppar, järn till det som ska vara av järn och trä till det som ska vara av trä samt onyx, andra infattningsstenar, svartglänsande[a] och brokiga stenar, alla slags dyrbara stenar och marmor i stor mängd.
